Troop News: November
We did not have a troop meeting on 11/20 due to the holidays. Your daughter can work on badges (visit the council link or girlscouts.org for free online badges) during the break.
Our next troop meeting will be at my house on Friday, December 4th. It will be from 6:30-9:30pm.
Bring your old t-shirts, any size! We will be using them to create chew toys for dogs waiting for adoption. This is the first part of our troops animal focused community action project.
Upcoming Events:
November 22nd: The Cobb County Mineral & Gem Society is having a free event! Please visit http://www.riverwoodgs.org for more details.
December 5th: Don’t forget about the Woodstock Parade! We will meet at the McDonalds on 92 near the corner of 92 and hwy 5 and walk to the Girl Scout parade meetup spot around 3:30. I will send another email with more details soon.
December: Mandatory Cookie Program Parent Meeting. The date will be changed from the 17th due to the 4th grade play at Woodstock Elementary. – We’ll be meeting at Toni West’s house for that meeting, directions to follow in another email. That’s right I said Mandatory! You will learn about the changes this year, get your daughter’s cookie sales kit, and get that pesky paperwork over with. We will have activities for the girls to do, so bring your daughter if you can.
December 21st: Cookie Sales Begin!
