About the New Journey Program
This year (2008/2009) we are focusing on the badges earned through the new Girl Scout Journeys. Brownie Quest is the Girl Scout Brownie Journey series. The theme this year is “It’s Your World – Change It!”. There are four badges available as a set. Three of them are “keys” and the fourth is for the overall quest theme. The Brownie Quest books are available from the Girl Scout Council of Greater Atlanta store (www.girlscoutsgreateratlanta.org)

About Try-Its
This year unless we specifically mention a try-it we are earning as a troop, all try-it badge-work must be tracked and earned individually by girls and their families. The easiest way is to keep a list in a folder or the front of the try-it book of the try-it name and related activities and the date.
